The Teachers

The instructors are highly skilled physical trainers with a wealth of experience. Most have substantial performance experience and often are still performing artists. The trainers rotate during the term as they take leave to perform or work on freelance projects. Heather is the lead teacher on most classes ensuring continuity. We aim to have a teacher - student ratio of no greater than 1 to 8, this is often reduced for the younger students.

“Kinder Circus is unlike any other class we’ve participated in. It is an hour of fun and there are new and creative activities every week. The instructors are passionate, enthusiastic and skilled. My daughter asks when are we coming back minutes after we finish the class. Suddenly my shy little girl is flying through the air.”

Annette. Imogen’s mum.

About Kinder Circus
Physical activity through structured play and creativity

The classes are designed to teach young children a range of circus skills and games in a safe, fun, non-competitive environment.  The children will also develop body awareness, self-confidence and independence while playing with others.  Classes during the term focus on different themes to develop their fine and gross motor skills.  The classes are conducted without parent participation. We encourage the parents to go for a much deserved coffee break after the initial settling in period. This  allows the child to focus on the skills without looking to the parent for constant reinforcement. Kinder Circus is a 9-10 week program booked by the term which are aligned with Victorian school terms.

Tannah has always been quite cautious and unsure with physical activity. Kinder Circus has really brought her out of her shell. Kinder Circus has done wonders for her confidence and strength. Not to mention it is just plain fun”.

Shae, Tannah’s mum.
